Hooray! At long last, we made it back to Disney World! Yes, I am well aware that there are people all over the place that either don’t or can’t go to Disney World every weekend, or at all. I get that. But being honest, we moved here to be closer to Disney World. We’re very fortunate to live down here and we’re very grateful. But three weeks of no Disney World was a bitter pill.

Flower & Garden is in full swing, and part of that means food. We made a point of hitting a few festival kiosks to try some new things, including:
- Nanaimo Bar Trifle (Canada)
- Key Lime Tart with Toasted Meringue (Florida Fresh)
- Freshly-Baked Lemon Scone (United Kingdom)

Also: I wanted to take some photos with the intent of doing colored pencil drawings at some future time. I am in the middle of completing a drawing now (it’s taking days to complete so you know it is SRS BSNS) but afterwards I will be casting about for other things to sketch and draw. Here is one possibility:
Yes, it is arbitrary but I wanted a blend of colors and textures.
We really wilted from a) the heat and b) our stamina being reduced after the hiatus. We did rally to get some shopping in later, and now we’re pretty much going to chill out for the remainder of the weekend.
